One year ago, a brand new coral ecosystem born in the middle of Salak Aoun’s bay. At that place, there was nothing else except a wide sandy seabed, an aquatic desert occasionally crossed by some pelagic fish. But once the first Reef Module was submerged, the environment there would change forever. These 28 structures coming with 30 tons of Live Rocks created hundreds of new habitats and shelters for all various marine organisms. Followed by a coral transplantation program, more than 1800 fragments were added on the Reef Modules and the Live Rocks. The whole process gave life to The Soneva Kiri Coral Garden.
